The provenance history is complete between 1933-1945. This object was owned half by art dealer Goudstikker, and half by art dealer Houthakker. The Art dealer Houthakker sold his half to Goudstikker in july 1940. The Restituition Commitee found that Goudstikker/Miedl had already arranged the sale of this object in July 1940 to Professor Hoffman, Berlin and that this sale was made voluntarily.
