Stilleven met kreeft op een schaal, fruit en roemer [nl] On a table almost entirely covered by a faded green cloth the following items can be seen from left to right: a few quinces, peaches, hazelnuts and walnuts, a blue-patterned Chinese (?) porcelain (?) dish bearing a red (boiled) North Sea lonster and a North Sea crab, a pewter plate with a partly peeled cut lemon on it, an open book of music, two hands holding a violin (?) and a bow, a flute-glass partly filled with red wine, a rummer of white wine and a bunch of grapes on a branch. The provenance of this object is not known before it came into possesion of art dealer Katz, Dieren. It was sold through art dealer Miedl to the chancellery in Berlin. The Restitution Commitee has researched the transactions from art dealer Katz with Miedl and has concluded there is no evidence to suggest this was involuntary.
