Objectinformatie
Distels en andere bloeiende planten in een landschap
Distels en andere bloeiende planten in een landschap At the foot of some trees a thistle with two purple blooms is growing; a snail is eating away at one of the leaves on the right. Another thistle is brown and withered, and has a broken stem and two buds, between which a spider has spun its web and trapped a fly. On the left a (blue) convolvulus, a yellow horned poppy (?) and a bee. On the right some grass and a half faded (blue) harebell. There are other plants in the picture, too. In the foreground are a mouse nibbling a cornstalk, and a frog. In the distance, at the left, a hilly landscape at sunset can be seen.
