Stilleven met bloemen en dieren bij een boom [nl]
Stilleven met bloemen en dieren bij een boom [nl] In front of a twilight-shrouded stone archway are the trunks of one dead tree and three vigorous ones, in one of which is a nest and three eggs. Round the foot of the trees are flowers (a red-and-white striped tulip, a pink-and-red striped rose, a pink rose, poppies) and three stalks of corn. On the left is a dead rosebush. The scene is enlivened by a goldfinch, a tit, a lizard, a snake, butterflies and a cockchafer. [nl]
