Therefore, no conclusions can be made regarding possible suspicious provenance or involuntary loss of ownership.

It is not clear how, when and under which circumstances this object came into the possession of art dealer F.W.H. Hollstein. The Restitution Commitee has researched the transactions from art dealer Katz with Miedl and has concluded there is no evidence to suggest this was involuntary.
