On the right a number of dead birds (wild duck, gull, kingfisher, hawfinch) and a hunting horn. Behind them, propped against a lidded basket, are a gun, a game-bag and a hunting-knife. In the left background a man is holding the wooden handle of a fowling-line; a woman warming her hands in a muff is looking on. On the horizon a country house with a tower. Evening. [nl]
