De herkomstgegevens van dit bord zijn niet sluitend. Het is niet bekend wanneer, van wie, of onder welke omstandigheden kunsthandel E. Delaunoy het bord heeft verworven. Op 10-06-1943 is het bord geveild en aangekocht door C.E. Pongs uit Düsseldorf en vervolgens verkocht aan F. Vorfeld uit Kevelaer. Op dit moment ontbreken aanknopingspunten voor het doen van verder herkomstonderzoek naar de periode 1933-1945. [nl]
