The provenance of this object is not entirely clear. It is not known from whom, when, how or under what circumstances O. Lanz from Amsterdam acquired the object. Between 11 May 1934 and 1 October 1934, this object was exhibited as the property of O. Lanz at the exhibition Italian Art in Dutch Possession at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam. O.
